StatSheet is now projecting Ole Miss as an NCAA Tournament bubble team with a possible 13 seed. The Rebels are ranked #63 in the StatSheet StatRank with a 15-9 overall record and a 5-5 record in the SEC.
During its last four games, Ole Miss chalked up wins against Auburn and South Carolina but also hit a setback with losses to AP #20 Mississippi State and RPI #32 Alabama.
Ole Miss is not that good against top competition, with a 4-8 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes a 2-6 record against the RPI Top 50 and a 1-3 record against AP ranked teams. While the Rebels have two quality wins including AP #20 Mississippi State and RPI #35 Miami (FL), they're also dinged with a bad loss to RPI #133 Auburn.
The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Ole Miss (15-9, 5-5 SEC, StatRank #53), Arkansas (17-8, 5-5 SEC, StatRank #63), Purdue (15-9, 5-6 Big Ten, StatRank #57), and Texas (16-9, 6-6 Big 12, StatRank #48).
